![]() I've only updated once since I built this rig like 3 months ago, but my rig prior to this I actually never updated anything besides OS and video cards and it was fine. They should have a support section where you'll find all the applicable updates. Check to see if your core is operating around that range.įor updates I'd just find the model of the motherboard and head to their homepage. Your score is closer to my stock 1080ti with a gpu boost that peaks at 1911 but stabilizes at 1835 mhz. I ran the test a few more times to make sure this particular test wasn't a fluke and I got scores consistently within the 4000-4053 range. For me it starts lowering past +550 mhz, but I get the same amount of fps between 500 and 550 so I put it at 500. Once you get a high enough memory clcok to the point where it starts lowering then you'll know when to stop. Once its stabilized gradually increase your memory by 50 and watch the fps counter. A good way to test this is to pause Heaven at the beginning and let the core stabilize. Some people have to have it within the +300 mhz range because any higher and it actually decreases performance. Also memory OC is extremely random in regards to performance boosts. With riva turner you should be able to see where your core is at during the entire run. Still not a bad score but maybe your clock speeds keep throttling? Mine mainly stayed above 2 ghz the whole time(2000-2038) and my temps peaked at 70c. This is the exception not the norm and only applies on very small number of cases. At the same time, we can also allow posts and comments that may break one or more rules outlined on this list.
